John Fletcher

John Fletcher has been making photographs for more than thirty years. Rather than working on a single subject matter, he prefers diversity. "I don't usually see the subject matter as the primary thing in the image, but rather the composition, the juxtaposition of tones & colors, the play between foreground and background. In my work these are the things which make an image successful or not." 

Fletcher works as a photographer and has a studio in Paterson, New Jersey. He uses traditional film based processes, digital media, and mixes of the two. Fletcher worked as a master photographic printer for twenty years.
