Richard Pantell

b. 1951

Richard Pantell was born in New York City in 1951 and currently lives in Woodstock, New York.  He studied at the University of Bridgeport, CT, and the Art Students League, NY.  He has taught at SUNY New Paltz, the University of Uppsala, Sweden, and currently teaches at the Art Students league.  Richard is a member of the Society of American Graphic Artists (SAGA) and Print Club of Albany.  

He has received many awards and his work has been exhibited extensively in the United States, Europe, and Asia.  Pantell’s work is in the permanent collections of the British Museum, UK;  New York Historical Society, NY; New York Public Library, NY; and the Butler Institute of American Art, OH.
