Alex Zwarenstein

1952 -

Alex Zwarenstein received a BA Hon. from Kingston on Tames, Polytechnic, and a MFA from the Royal Academy of Art, London.  In 1979 he was the Recipient of the Biennial Royal Academy Gold Medal in Painting. Zwarenstein taught at the Art Students League of New York & The National Academy of Design. His work has been represented at OK Harris Gallery, NY; Art Obsession Gallery, Tokyo; Ann Nathan Gallery, Chicago; Eleanor Ettinger Gallery, NY; Albernarle Gallery, London, among others.  Zwarenstein’s work is in the permanent collections of The Museum of the City of New York, The New York Stock Exchange, The London City Council, Texas Tech University Public Art Collection.
