Louis Szanto

He was born in Hungary in 1889 and graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Budapest, Hungary. He continued his studies at the Art Acadamy in Munich and at Julienne Academy in Paris. He served in the Austrian Army from 1914-1918 and afterwards became internationally known for his etchings and paitings. He moved to America in 1928 and took up projects from the W.P.A. often working with Andrew Karoly.
