Takuji Kubo

Takuji Kubo received his education at Tama University of Fine Arts, Tokyo , Japan , where he studied with Tetsurou Komai (B.A. & M.A.). His teaching experience includes: Instructor of Solarplate Printmaking, Rajabhat Institute Suan Dusit, Bangkok , Thailand , Instructor of Printmaking, Tama Community College of Fine Arts, Tokyo , Japan , Instructor pf Painting and Printmaking, Tokoha College of Fine Arts, Shizuoka , Japan , Instructor of Printmaking, Machida City Museum of Graphic Art, Tokyo , Japan , and others. Kubo has had 30 solo shows and participated in an equal amount of group shows - internationally. His work is in the collections of: The Rembrandt House, Amsterdam, Holland, The Corcoran Museum of Art, Washington, DC., The New York Public Library, New York, NY., Smithsonian Freer Gallery of Art and Arthur M. Sackler Gallery, Washington, DC., Art Museum, Tama University of Fine Arts, Tokyo, Japan, Tochigi Prefectual Museum of Fine Arts, Utsunomiya, Japan, The Oriental Collection of the British Museum, London, England, and others.
