  • DESCRIPTION: Drawn by Archibald Robertson. Lithograph by Imbert. From "Memoir, prepared at the Request of A Committee of the Common Council of The City of New York, and Presented to the Mayor of the City, at the Celebration of the Compleation of the New York Canals." This is an important and early American lithograph. The size over 40" exceed the largest stone in America at the time so it was printed on two stoned and joined in the center. The view is of New York Harbor from Battery Park.
