Authors are Moisei Ginzburg, Ilya Golosov, Vladimir Krinsky, Nikolia Ladovsky, Lazar Lissitsky, Konstantin Melnikov, Alexander Nikolsky, Alexander Vesnin, and Lebbeous Woods. Housed in a brown cloth folding case that resembles doors. Paper size 14 x 10” (35.5 x 25.4 cm). Limited edition to 15. Shown in photo partially assembled. <br><br> From the colophon:<BR> “The collagraph plates for this project show the metamorphosis of structures and people, or hominstructs, with a text from early Russian constructivists architects. The plates were made in Venice in 1994 and printed on an etching press in the High Tide print shop in 1995 and 1996. Text is printed from Linotype Helvetica, set by Kent LeFebvre of Cote Type in Holyoke, Mass. And printed on a Vandercook 219 proving press at the High Tide workshop in East Hampton, N.Y. Display letters are from wood type from the High Tide collection. The paper used is Coventry. The portfolio box is made by James DiMarcantonio of the Hope Bindery in Providence, RI.” <br><br> A wonderful artist book. Portfolio box in cloth with veneer samples in cover.
