DESCRIPTION: A scarce large-scale sea chart of the Windward Islands. Given are shoals, tidal directions, soundings, anchorages and associated information useful to mariners. William Heather is a noted English publisher of charts. He opened his business in 1793 at 157 Lendenhall Street. His shop quickly became known as Naval Academy or Naval Warehouse. Heather is remembered for producing a fine selection of nautical charts for all parts of the world.

CONDITION: Good condition save for some damp staining in the lower and upper left corners. Not uncommon for working sea charts. Black & white.
