Pierre Mortier's important map of the Carolinas that appeared in his ”Suite de Neptune Francois.” This map is based on the Thornton, Morden & Lea map first issued in 1685. Cumming observes that the two maps are identical to the smallest geographical detail and provide the most complete and up to date view of the Carolinas available at the end of the 17th Century.
