DESCRIPTION: Printed wrappers, 90 pp. plus 6 pages of advertisements, illustrated plates and map. A brief description of Dakota Territory is provide starting off with “This little book is designed to tell the truth about Dakota…”. The folding map is in fine condition and depicts Yankton, Mitchell, Watertown, Huron, Aberdeen, Deadwood, Bismarck, Fargo, Grand Forks, and Devil's Lake districts. Lands open to settlement are in white, along with school lands, railroad grants, U. S. land offices, and Sioux reservation. The advertisements are located in the back and are for various railroads, advertising both travel and land.

CONDITION: Overall in good condition. Covers have some minor staining and small hole. Map is fine.
