DESCRIPTION: A finely engraved and detailed map of the Chinese Empire based on a map by Rigobert Bonne. Also shows Korea, Taiwan and the southern islands of Japan, including an oversized Okinawa (Lequeo). Towns, cities, rivers, and topographical details are shown. Within the title cartouche is a Chinese family, flora and pottery.

CONDITION: Good condition. Save for several short tears in the lower margin, one of which enters the image. Original outline color.
