DESCRIPTION: The Chillicothe was built at Cincinnati and was commissioned in September 1862. In January 1863 she joined the Mississippi River squadron and served with distinction until the end of the war. She was sold in 1865 and continued privately owned until she burned in 1872.

CONDITION: Fair to good condition. The image is fine. There is a very bad stain in the lower right margin. If it is matted with a window mat the stain can be covered.
