DESCRIPTION: This pamphlet features a centerfold map "Map of Marthas Vineyard and Nantucket Islands". The text describes Martha's Vineyard, it's history, sights, going on's and how to get there. In this case from New York it is by steamboat to New Bedford than cross the pier to the steamboat to the island. They note that it is "the most comfortable way". Very attractive two section cover illustration showing a woman and children playing on the seashore. There are a good number of b/w illustrations of various locations on the island within the booklet.
