A beautiful plan of the city of Paris. This is the second plan to show Paris on a north-south axis, with the Seine being shown horizontally. The image cartouches show: Upper left, Notre Dame, Palace of Orleans, Sorbonne and Val de Grace, lower left, the royal palace, the Louvre, la place des Victoires, les invalides, les tuileries, et un arc de triomphe; lower right, Townhall, the Observatory, the Porte Saint-Bernard, Saint-Antoine, Saint-Martin and Saint-Deniset.
