  • DESCRIPTION: This guide map was first drawn by the civilian conservation corps in 1937 and was revised by Charles L. Parker in 1946. It shows the various hiking trails including the Appalachian Trail. It also notes three ski trails, Bedlows Pipe, Thunder Bolt and Stony Ledge. Mount Greylock State Reservation is public recreation and nature preserve located in the northwest corner of Massachusetts It is the highest point in the state at 3,491 feet and covers over 12,000 acres in the towns of Lanesborough, North Adams, Adams, Cheshire, Williamstown and New Ashford, Massachusetts. North is oriented to the left.
