Flinn's Block still stands today but no longer has the towers or decorative roofing elements displayed in this lithograph - everything above the second floor window was removed at some point after this image was published. It is located at 222 First Avenue West in Downtown Albany, Oregon.

Flinn Block Hall was constructed in 1887 in the French Second Empire style. During the 1970s, the ground floor was combined with that of the Ames Building (constructed 1910) to create the city's first indoor shopping mall. The second floor was utilized as a warehouse. Today, the second floor serves as a popular venue for weddings, parties and other social gatherings in downtown Albany.

The businesses noted in the lithograph include "Wallace & Thompson" (groceries is written on the window), "Krausse & Klein" (boot and shoes are written on the window) and the "First National Bank". Beside it, on the right, is a store with a sign reading "school books."
