  • DESCRIPTION: Sketched by J. S. Smith & Son. Brooklyn, L.I. Drawn on stone by C. Parsons. This impression is printed from the original lithographic stone by Max Williams about 1915. After the firm of Currier & Ives closed its doors at turn of the century, Max Williams purchased the contents of the shop where he found the original lithographic stones for six large folio Clipper Ship prints. These impressions are often called by collectors the Max Williams edition.
