DESCRIPTION: No. 11 from the "Album of New England Scenery". Below the title reads: "To the Citizens of Great Falls this picture is most respectfully dedicated by the Publisher" with a facsimile of Bachelder's signature. The rondel in the center of the base margin states that this view was "sketched from the high school building" and shows a miniature depiction of that school. Incorporated as a town in 1754 and as a city in 1893, this is a nicely detailed view showing the cotton and woolen mills which was the town's main industry.

CONDITION: Good condition and color. Faint mat line and some discoloration on edge of the top left corner.
