DESCRIPTION: A well engraved French produced map of Eastern Canada with a nice inset of the Great Lakes entitled "Supplement pour Les Lacs du Canada." Second state of four. Engraved by Chaufrard. Good upper mid-west U.S. coverage. A rather strange Beaver is depicted in the lower right section of the cartouche.
