DESCRIPTION: A fine map of the northern parts of Scandinavia and the Baltic States. Embellished with an armorial cartouche with allegorical figures of war and victory. The map gives excellent detail of the topography along with cities, towns and villages. The upper title: “Teatre dela Guerre des Courones du Nord qui Comprend les Royaumes le Danemark, Suede, & Norwegge &c” refers to the Northern War of 1699-1721 between Russia and Sweden.

CONDITION: Good condition. Nice original color. Minor splitting along lower center crease. Some staining along the edges.
