  • DESCRIPTION: Title continues "The Fire broke out on York Point at half past two P.M. and burned furiously unitl after midnight, consuming several hundred : buildings among which were the Post Office, Custom House, Academy of Music, eleven churches, a number of Hotels, Banks and various : public buildings, the entire business portion of the cita, and vessels at the wharves. 13 lives were lost. The total loss is estimated at $25,000,000."

  • CONDITION: Overall good condition. Tear into end of title line. Very minor water staining along right paper edge. Subtle creases in paper - most noticeable from verso. Beautiful color.
