DESCRIPTION: A fine botanical print from Thornton's "The Temple of Flora or the Garden of Nature". Engraved by Hopewood after the painting by Henderson. This publication was printed between 1799 and 1807 and had a total of thirty-one plates. They are among the most important (and most beautiful) botanical prints ever published. Printed in color and finished by hand.
