  • DESCRIPTION: This is a highly decorative map of the southern tip of South America, including Tierra del Fuego and Cape Horn with the Straits of Magellan. It includes three compass roses, title, key, three scale cartouches, rhumb lines, and a dedication to Constantino Hugenio. A fleet of seven sailing ships is shown in the Pacific. This is one of the most embellished versions ever produced of this regional map.
