Felix Grundy was born in Berkeley County, Va., on September 11, 1777 and died in Nashville Tennessee on December 19, 1840. He was a Representative and a Senator from Tennessee. He moved his parents to Pennsylvania and studied law at Bardstown Academy, Bardstown, Ky. He was admitted to the bar in Bardstown, Ky., in 1797. He was a member of the Kentucky constitutional convention in 1799. He was chosen judge of the supreme court of Kentucky in 1806. He moved to Nashville, Tenn in 1807. Throughout the rest of his live he served the people in many positions.
