  • DESCRIPTION: One page on printed letterhead hand written to J. H. Bender Alden Galleries, Kansas City Mo. (also publisher of the Print Collectors Quaterly), dated Apr 19 1928. Letter starts out "Have just returned to my studio at the above address after being on a sketching tour through Mexico all the Winter. I have your undated letter before me asking for liteture and dates of my prints - Am enclosing the most recent catalogue...." Signed in ink. Many gallery notes on the letter top left "Was reproduced in Fine Prints in 1925, also 1926." Top right "There is no artist working on the copper with vision more original than Mr. "Pop" Hart's none that sees more unusual sights, or records his impressions with more persuasive relish.... M. Solaman." and lower left "As far as I can tell he is considered a pretty good artist, but don't know how saleable his stuff woiuld be. M.B."
