DESCRIPTION: Scarce battle plan by Lt. Therbu, a French military engineer. The Battle of Gross-Jagersdorf occurred on August 30, 1757. It was a battle fought during the Seven Years' War. It was a victory for the Russian force under Field Marshal Stepan Fedorovich Apraksin over a smaller Prussian force commanded by Field Marshal Hans von Lehwaldt. Troop positions of Russians and Prussians are marked.
