  • DESCRIPTION: "Engraved expressly for the Columbian Magazine. Engd. by H. S. Sadd and printed Ormsby." The Americans won this battle led by Gen. Zachary Taylor & Gen. William J. Worth. On the third of battle day Texas Ranger Division and an infantry division under the command of General William J. Worth managed to take four hills to the west of the city.
