DESCRIPTION: A beautifully engraved map of the walled city of Turin, Italy. Gabriel Bodenehr the Elder (c. 1664-1758) was a Swiss artist who worked in Augsburg. He created many topographical views and plans of European and North African cities. Many were gathered under the overall title Le Gloire et la Force de l'Europe.
