  • DESCRIPTION: This fine English produced map appeared in Speed's Prospect of the World. The map is surrounded on three sides by vignettes. Along the top edge are eight bird's eye views of cities, including London, Paris Rome, Amsterdam and Lisbon. On the sides are images of ten native peoples from different areas that are shown on the map. English text on verso. Engraved by Abraham Goos.
