  • DESCRIPTION: Engraved by H. Mutlow. Plate VII from William James' A Full and Correct Account of the Military Occurrences of the Late War Between Great Britain and the United States. This scarce contemporary War of 1812 plan depicts the Battle of New Orleans, fought after the war was officially ended. On it are marked Gen. Andrew Jackson’s line, those of McCarty and Rodriguez, Commodore Patterson’s marine battery, Capt. Beale’s rifle company – even the spot where British General Packenham was mortally wounded.
