Gladys Mock

1891-1976

Gladys Mock was an American painter and printmaker from New York, New York. She studied at the Calhoun School and Art Students League in NYC.

Mock served as the president of the Society of American Graphic Artists from 1958-1960, vice president of the Audubon Artists in 1962 and as the director of the group for many years. Mock also won awards from the National Association of Women Artists, the Pen and Brush Club, and the Champlain Valley Exhibition.

Today her work can be found in the likes of the Smithsonian and Library of Congress in Washington, DC; the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts; Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York; and the Brooklyn Museum, New York.
