Valenti Angelo

Valenti Angelo was an Italian-born, American printmaker, illustrator and author. He immigrated to the United States with his family in 1905, where they lived in New York City before moving out to Antioch, California. Angelo settled in San Francisco at the age of nineteen. Over the course of his life, Angelo illustrated and decorated around 250 books. He is best known for his scenes of the American Southwest and nocturnal urban scenes.
