  • DESCRIPTION: Handsome view of this active Scottish port located central on the east coast. Four British frigate ships are anchored in the harbor, smoke is rising from many of the clustered houses in the city. In the foreground, along the rocky shore, among others is a gentleman with a portfolio under his arm, another with a fishing pole and a dog sitting close by.

  • CONDITION: Overall good condition. Mild all over toning. Scratch (or unprinted area) in upper left sky starting at printed area. A few small tears in the lower margin.
