Publisher : First state of two. Two recorded impressions of the first state and six of the second. According to Paff the plate was damaged in state 2 and Benson destroyed the plate. The image was used to make the larger plate "Nightfall (second plate) Paff 262.Signed in pencil, inscribed "A-2, Trial proof A, Reproduce."
