  • DESCRIPTION: This fine map was engraved by F. Lamb for Speed's Prospect of the World. On the right edge are five inset views, Russche Narva; Archangel; The Emperours Court; a Hott House, (steam bath house) and a Mill House. In the upper right is an inset map of “The Famous and Imperiall City of Moscow.” Over the title cartouche is an image, "The Habit of Russians," showing three peasants, one of which is holding the Imperial Russian coat of arms.

  • CONDITION: Good condition save for some repaired splitting along lower centerfold and minor damp staining. Hand colored.
