Parsons Writing to left of title, "Base of Pantheon, 250 feet diameter, height 100 feet, height of Obelisk, 500 feet." To the right is who contributed and how much to the construction. This is one of the early designs for the Washington Monument. This design was never built. A canal is shown on the left and the Smithsonian on the right with the Capitol in the distant right.
ADDITIONAL INFO: Framed with acid-free cream bottom mat, gold spandrel, green top mat, and gold frame. Frame size 36 1/2 x 27”.
CONDITION: Small water-damage stains in bottom left corner and top right corner. Vertical creases.
