DESCRIPTION: Signed in stone on log lower left "A. F. Tait N.Y. 1855." Lith by N. Currier, N.Y. This impression has an impression of Conningham #1160 "Clipper ship Ocean Express…" on the verso. This is one of the few images where other Currier & Ives prints can be found printed on the verso. It is thought that either the print did not sell well or it was a "job" print that was never paid for and the firm used the paper to print other images on. New Best Fifty #6.
