This lithograph depicts a workshop in which coins are made. At the left a gentleman punches the coins out of metal sheets, in the background an individual is pouring molten metal into molds to form said sheets. In the mid-ground the coins are being stamped, and on the eight two people work to ready the metal sheets for stamping.
