A decorative printed "rose & flower vine border" surrounds this map. Two insets in the lower right, Hampton Roads and Pensacola Bay. Shows the Pony Express and overland mail routes. Wyoming is noted as being attached to Dakota. Soon after this map was issued the two inset map were dropped and an inset of Newfoundland was a added. Maps
