  • DESCRIPTION: A handsome bird's eye view of the lake. The town of Sunapee is located in the lower right corner. Lake Sunapee is located within Sullivan and Merrimack Counties in western New Hampshire. It is the fifth-largest lake in the state. The Walker Co. was formed in 1880 by George Hiram Walker and his brother Oscar. They were very prolific, publishing maps, atlases and bird's eye views of New England locales. The Walkers were the last of Boston's important lithographers.

  • CONDITION: Fair to good condition. Soft stain in lower right corner., two tears in right margin, just into the image. Repaired.
