DESCRIPTION: G.G. dis. L.S. No. 1281. A nice and very early railroad lithograph. The scene shows a first generation locomotive, likely build circa 1830. It is shown pulling a tender, than a small open baggage car, followed by two livestock cars and a triple carriage car carrying people. Title translates to "Transportation on the Iron Roads." We suspect that this is a U.S. produced lithograph depicting a Mexican, Central American or South American railway.
