DESCRIPTION: Title on each map is: "Walker's Geographical Pastime, or Tour through the Eastern Hemisphere or Old World. An Amusing and Instructive Game" and "Walker's Geographical Pastime, or Tour through the Western Hemisphere or New World. An Amusing and Instructive Game". Each map has numbers and corresponding descriptions. Western Hemisphere has 141, Eastern Hemisphere, 155. In the upper right of each are the directions and rules. Some of the descriptions have a decided English twist. In the Eastern Hemisphere: #81, New South Wales, the well knows receptacle for British convicts…. #91, Madagascar is a large island on the eastern coast of Africa, upon which the French have often attempted to settle but have always been expelled. Western Hemisphere: #64 Sandwich Islands. Where Captain Cook was murdered! There are eleven of them; the largest is Owhyhee, the fatal island. Unfortunately it lacks tetotum, pillars & counters as is usually the case with this piece.<br><br> Both maps have full original body coloring.
