A large folding map of the world that was issued in 1942. While the map does not note any battles, it does identify naval bases and the Japanese Empire and the colonial possessions in Africa. Along the lower edge is a section with flags representing the various parties that were at war. Left to right they are: United Nations. Soviet Union, United Kingdom, United States (a diagram showing how to cut out the flags and wrap them around a pin), the Nazi swastika, Japanese, Italian and Axis powers. "These flags when stuck into the map can be used to indicate military movements, battle scenes and military occupied areas." Maps , War map
