  • DESCRIPTION: A fine early map lower Manhattan. Faint outline color by ward. There are two Inset views on either side of title, they are of the Merchants Exchange and City Hall. The areas shaded show the built up areas, which at the time were largely below 14th street.<br><br> This is an unusual variant edition. Instead of a simple black neat line, Langdon has changed it to a piano key border-neatline combination.

  • ADDITIONAL INFO: Retains but removed from original covers.

  • CONDITION: Good condition save for some professionally repaired splitting along fold lines. Original wash color.
