A wonderful arrangement of twelve scenes, the main one being of the "Main Exhibition Building, Fairmount Park, Philadelphia, United States, America". Smaller scenes, woven into a decorative lattice, portray highlights in American history - from "Drafting the Declaration of Independence" to Abraham Lincoln's "Entry into Richmond". Among the many other details here is a Native American family, a hot air balloon and a steam locomotive. 18th-19th Century Subjects , Town Views
