  • DESCRIPTION: Garneray pinx. Himely sculp. Drawn by Ambroise-Louis Garneray and aquatint and engraving by Sigismond Himely. Weahawk, New Jersey, now known as Weehawken, has a commanding view of lower Manhattan and inspired artists to make many views of the city. This view is one of the finest produced from this vantage point. The second printing of two listed in Deak. As a later state, no printing date given.

  • ADDITIONAL INFO: Framed in 1" wood molding finished in gold leaf, with bottom mat wrapped in a gold metal leaf and archival ivory top mat. UV Plexiglass.
