Lithographed by Louis Haghe of the firm Day & Haghe, one of the earliest lithograph publishers of England, these prints were published in six volume sets over a span of eight years (1841-49). <br><br> The Holy Lavra of Saint Sabbas the Sanctified, or Mar Saba, is located in the West Bank region of Palestine.
