DESCRIPTION: Title within map: New Sectional, Township & County Map of Oregon & Washington. A scarce large-scale pocket map of Oregon and Washington, the counties shown in bright tones of green, pink, and yellow. According to a legend in the lower margin, the map was "Compiled and drawn from all United States and railroad surveys made previous to Jany 1st, 1888, by W.H. Galvani, Civil Engineer, and John Gill Portland Or." When issued Oregon was a state, but Washington would not become one until 1889.

CONDITION: Still folded as issued. Overall in good condition save for occasional split along fold line. Original hand coloring.
