Price: SOLD Publisher : Zorn met Charles and Marion Deering on his first visit to the United States in 1893; this lamplight double portrait was made in their home in Evanston, Illinois, where he was a frequent guest. Deering had suffered an injury to his eye, which is bandaged in the portrait, and was unable to read for a time.
