Illustrated by Salvador Cherubini, Gaetano Rosellini, Giuseppe Angelelli and Carlo Lasinio. This particular etching was made by Lasinio. His name is noted in the lower right.
Dr. Rosellini (1800-1843) is considered the founder of Egyptology in Italy. He is believed to have succumbed to malaria before completing the nine volume Montimenti series.
